Dicken was one of 12 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Eken cup 2017. They participated with 6 teams in Boys 05, Girls 06, Girls 05 and Senior Women respectively. Five teams played until Final Girls06 C in Slutspel A; Girls 06 1 won over Huddinge HK 2 by 14-7, Girls 06 2 won over Skånela IF by 14-12, Boys 05 Röd won over Salaspils SS by 11-10, Girls 05 won over IK Bolton 2 by 11-5 and Boys 05 Blå lost against HC Tallinn 2 by 10-15.

In addition to this, Dicken have participated in Eken cup before. During Eken cup 2016, Dicken had 6 teams playing in Boys 05, Boys 03, Girls 04, Girls 02 and Senior Women respectively. The team in Senior Women made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against AIK by 10-16.

Dicken comes from Helsingfors which lies approximately 390 km from Stockholm, where Eken cup takes place. The area around Helsingfors does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Eken cup 2017 (Drumsö Idrottskamrater (Dicken), HIFK, Drumsö Idrottskamrater Dicken rf, Kyrkslätt IF, Grankulla IFK, Sjundeå IF (SIF), HIFK Damhandboll and Sparta IF).
