Skogås HK was one of 63 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Eken cup 2017. They participated with 14 teams in 10 out of Eken cups all 23 categories. Six teams played until Final Girls05 C in Slutspel A; Girls 05 2 won over Grankulla IFK by 15-8, Boys 06 1 lost against HK Cliff 2 by 6-7, Boys 06 Skogås HK P07 lost against HC Tallinn 2 by 9-13, Girls 06 lost against Spånga HK by 1-11, Girls 05 1 lost against Huddinge HK 3 by 7-14 and Boys 03 lost against Tyresö Handboll by 8-23.
In addition to this, Skogås HK have participated in Eken cup before. During Eken cup 2016, Skogås had 16 teams playing in 12 out of Eken cups all 22 categories. The team in Senior Women made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against Stockholmspolisens IF by 9-9. Skogås comes from Trångsund which lies approximately 5 km from Stockholm, where Eken cup takes place. The area around Trångsund does also provide 52 additional clubs participating during Eken cup 2017 (Among others: Westermalms IF, HK Silwing Troja, Hanviken Handboll, Gustavsbergs IF HK, IF Swithiod HK, Spårvägens HF, Gustavsbergs IF, IF Swithiod, Lidingö SK and Norrtulls SK).
