HC Tallinn was one of 7 clubs from Estonia that had teams playing during Eken cup 2017. They participated with 11 teams in Boys 08, Boys 07, Boys 06, Boys 05, Boys 04, Boys 03 and Girls 04 respectively. Four teams played until Final Boys06 E in Slutspel A; Boys 06 1 won over Põlva SK by 13-8, Boys 06 2 won over Skogås HK Skogås HK P07 by 13-9, Boys 05 1 won over GT Söder 1 by 12-8 and Boys 05 2 won over Dicken Blå by 15-10.
In addition to this, HC Tallinn have participated in Eken cup before. During Eken cup 2016, Tallinn had 15 teams playing in 8 out of Eken cups all 22 categories. 9 teams played until 3-4 in Slutspel A; Boys 07 1 won over Skogås HK by 25-17, Boys 07 2 won over IK Bolton 1 by 19-3, Boys 06 1 won over Põlva SK by 34-12, Boys 05 1 won over Skuru IK 1 by 12-8, Boys 05 3 won over HC Tallinn 2 by 9-7, Girls 05 won over Sannadals SK by 12-11, Boys 06 2 lost against HC TALLAS 1 by 12-25, Boys 06 3 lost against HK Silwing/Troja by 15-22 and Boys 06 4 lost against Hammarby Handboll 2 by 13-25. Tallinn comes from Tallinn which lies approximately 380 km from Stockholm, where Eken cup takes place. The area around Tallinn does also provide four additional clubs participating during Eken cup 2017 (SK Reval Sport/Tallinna Spordikool, SK Reval Sport/Mella, SK Viimsi HC and HC Tallas).
