In addition to AIK, 16 other teams played in Senior Women. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof AIK could be found in Group D together with Gurrabergs HK, Sportsgear DHK and Sollentuna HK.

AIK made it to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group D. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against GT Söder with 10-12. Thereby AIK finished second in SW Slutspel A during Eken cup 2017.

AIK also participated in Senior Women during Eken cup 2016. They won Slutspel A, after beating HK Silwing/Troja in the final with 10-8.
