Sportsgear DHK was one of 63 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Eken cup 2017. They participated with one team in Senior Women.
In addition to Sportsgear DHK, 16 other teams played in Senior Women. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Sportsgear DHK could be found in Group D together with Gurrabergs HK, AIK and Sollentuna HK. Sportsgear DHK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against AIK with 9-14. In the Final, GT Söder won over AIK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Senior Women. Sportsgear DHK comes from Enskede which lies approximately 3 km from Stockholm, where Eken cup takes place.
