In addition to the two Bolton teams, 25 other teams from 3 different countries played in Girls 06. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof IK Bolton 1 could be found in Group D together with Hammarby Handboll 1, HK Silwing/Troja, Tyresö Handboll 2, Huddinge HK 2, Vallentuna HK and Årsta AIK HF.

IK Bolton 1 continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group D. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Huddinge HK 1 with 7-11. In the Final, Skuru IK 1 won over Huddinge HK 1 and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 06.
